Allow user to define a separate password for ATILLA network access
When using 802.1x network authentication, the final user has to provide his LDAP username and password in order to be fully authenticated. Then, if the user does not want to re-type his password every time he’s connecting to the network, he can use his network manager to save his password in clear text.
Alter the LDAP schema (see https://gitlab.atilla.org/adminsys/ldap-config) in order to add a new password field (
networkPassword) that can be edited through members.atilla.org UI and accessed by our RADIUS server in order to perform an alternative network authentication.
We can also implement application specific passwords for this specific use.
